Simon joined Vancouver Westside German School in 2026. His education and work experience in biomedical research allowed him to live and work in many different places before settling in Vancouver in early 2026. As a certified English and German teacher, he has taught both languages part-time for the past several years.

Additionally, he is the editor of a poetry journal and brings his passion for the arts into the classroom, where he encourages creative writing and active communication alongside the standard curriculum at the A2 and B1 levels.
