Dass der Menschen was lernen muss.
Structure
Classes are structured according to age and ability. Most classes are split into German and English streams. We teach all aspects of the German language in speaking, reading, writing and aural/oral comprehension.
Students are prepared to communicate effectively in German, use correct grammar, appropriate vocabulary, standard orthography and correct pronunciation. In addition, cultural, geographical and historical topics appropriate to each level are an integral part of the curriculum.
We follow the DaF-Rahmenplan of the Central Agency for Schools Abroad (ZfA), which is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), and we use up-to-date textbooks and teaching materials.
Certification
Before entering the advanced classes, students take the CAGLS German Exam offered through the Canadian Association of German Language Schools (CAGLS).
Students have the opportunity to work toward receiving high school credits for second language German 11 and German 12 at the appropriate level.
Furthermore, our classes will prepare for the Accredited German Language Certificate Examinations, Zentrale Deutschprüfung ZDP A2 and Deutsches Sprachdiplom (DSD).
